Area, County, Provincial and National Activities.
Nationwide, Community Games volunteers organise a wide range of sporting and cultural activities all year long including Coaching, Competitions, Youth Exchanges, etc... The competitions culminate in Area Finals (January - June), County Finals (January - June) and Provincial Finals (March & July) each year.
The Community Games National Finals are normally held inMay & August, involving thousands of children over two weekends.
The AGM of Laois Community Games is held in a different area within the County each year.
National Area Awards
The National Area Awards are held annually, usually in November, and reward the efforts of the Areas that have been most active and have created the maximum Community Games involvement within their County.
